Privacy notice
This notice explains what Visit Well collects through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you. Effective September 12, 2026.
Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry, Visit Well may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred contact method, town, relationship to the older adult, your message, the form source, and a submission identifier used to prevent duplicate processing.
Visit Well provides non-medical companion support. Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account information, passwords, detailed diagnoses, medication lists, medical records, or other sensitive medical information through the website inquiry form.
Website and device information
Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device type, request timestamps, requested pages, and security or error logs.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement are disabled until you allow them. If you consent, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta may receive information such as page views, referral or campaign information, browser and device information, cookies, and other online identifiers. Visit Well does not intentionally send the name, email address, phone number, or free-text inquiry message to those analytics or advertising events.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate service fit, communicate with you, maintain inquiry records, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, operate and secure the website, improve the website, and measure marketing performance when you have allowed optional analytics.
We do not use the inquiry form to make medical decisions or provide clinical care.
Where inquiry information is handled
Our intended production inquiry workflow uses a restricted Google Sheet as the private inquiry log, Google/Gmail for business correspondence, and Resend to deliver the website notification and acknowledgment email. Hosting providers process the form request so it can reach that workflow.
We use service providers only for business functions such as hosting, email, recordkeeping, security, analytics, and advertising measurement. Their handling of information is also subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Cookies and privacy choices
Essential website functions do not require you to allow optional analytics. On your first visit, you can allow or decline analytics and advertising measurement. You can reopen those choices from the footer at any time. With permission, we keep campaign labels, advertising click identifiers, the landing page path and referring website hostname for the current browser tab session, and may attach them to your private inquiry record to understand which campaigns lead to inquiries.
When a browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Visit Well treats optional analytics and advertising measurement as declined. Declining optional analytics does not prevent you from using the inquiry form.
Retention and access
Inquiries that do not become customer relationships are generally retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, or another legal or business requirement. Records connected to an ongoing customer relationship may be retained under the applicable business-record schedule.
Access to the private inquiry log should be limited to people who need it to handle inquiries. Visit Well does not sell inquiry-form information.
Your requests
You may contact us to ask what inquiry information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
Email scott.otis@visitwellathome.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
